Off the Field : Joe Andruzzi

Linda Holliday heads ‘Off the Field’ with one of football’s most inspiring figures, former offensive lineman, Joe Andruzzi. Andruzzi, an un-drafted rookie for the Green Bay packers, eventually was chosen for the New England Patriots in Bill Belichick’s first year as coach. After 5 years and 3 Super Bowl rings Andruzzi was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt’s lymphoma. Overcoming the debilitating disease spurred Andruzzi and his wife to start the Joe Andruzzi Foundation aimed at offering families financial assistance during treatment.
