With the icy grip of Winter looming in the distance, now is the time to practice your advanced driving techniques! In this “Detour,” Chris Talanian heads back to school at Team O’Neil Rally School & Car Control Center.

Rallying, an exciting albeit safer form of car racing, generally takes place on private roads and has become a popular, grassroots motorsport.

Between trail braking and thrilling pendulum turns, O’Neil and Talanian go flying around New Hampshire’s sharp trails. Not looking for adventure? Courses in accident avoidance are available and extremely useful as the frost begins to settle in.
