From living on the streets to being featured in The White House gallery, celebrated artist Giovanni DeCunto has experienced success that many dream of. In this “Scene Spotter,” DeCunto takes host Eric Levin to his favorite spots in the North End.
Giovanni DeCunto’s art has taken him around the world. Educated classically in northern Italy and constantly evolving his technique, merging Italian influences with modern and contemporary art, Giovanni has redefined his medium.
Giovanni’s paintings may be found in the permanent collections at the Smithsonian, Harvard University’s Fogg Museum, the MIT Historical Collection, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
