Scene Spotter : Boston University’s Film Screenings

Fresh off the set of the HBO hit series Entourage, Adrian Grenier headed to Boston University to screen his documentary Teenage Paparazzo in this ‘Scene Spotter’. The event was the beginning in a number of screenings across the country at various colleges to discuss celebrity and media studies with students.

His advice for young filmmakers? “Don’t give up.” His own project took over three years to become a reality.

Host Melanie Platten also spoke to Boston University’s Charles Merzbacher who stressed the importance of these screenings. “People are so used to digesting their media at home and on their computers but there’s nothing better than rubbing shoulders with people and experiencing it first-hand,” he said.

Teenage Paparazzo is now airing on HBO. Check your local listings.
