Joseph Gordon Cleveland descended on Boston in 2008 after a serendipitous move from his hometown of Santa Barbara, CA. Having spent most of his life sharing his opinion with anyone listening (and many who weren’t), Cleveland parlayed his creative sensibilities into a career in fashion. His Fashion Forward segments, for which he is both Producer and Host, earned him an Emmy nomination in 2011. He is also a classically-trained violinist–his studies began at the age of eight–, a freelance writer, art director, and the cofounder of fashioncentric creative services firm CONTRA. His writing and editorial work has been published in Boston magazine, the Boston Globe, the Improper Bostonian, Spirited magazine, and EDGE magazine, among others.
