Joe Andruzzi

Off The Field

Linda Holliday heads “Off the Field” with one of football’s most inspiring figures: former offensive lineman Joe Andruzzi. Bill Belichick, coach for the world famous New England Patriots, chose Andruzzi, an un-drafted rookie for the Green Bay packers, during his first year of coaching. After 5 years and 3 Super Bowl wins, Andruzzi was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt’s lymphoma. Overcoming the debilitating disease inspired Andruzzi and his wife to start the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, aimed at offering affected families financial assistance during treatment. Discover more about what inspires this fearless family in this week’s “Off the Field” segment.
